IDNTY collects only the personal data needed to take your order, deliver it, and meet our legal obligations — nothing more. We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers, we don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t send marketing emails.

The IDNTY online store (idnty.shop) is operated by AUDI Latvija Biedrība, registration No. 40008263557, legal address Zundānu iela 9-243, Rīga, LV-1073, Latvia. AUDI Latvija Biedrība is the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect, and why
- Name, phone number, selected Omniva parcel terminal — to deliver your order and allow Omniva to notify you when it arrives.
- Email address — to send the order confirmation, delivery updates, and reply to your enquiries.
- Billing details, order contents and amount — to process and fulfil your order and issue an invoice.
- Payment data — processed by the MakeCommerce payment platform (see below). We never see or store your card details.
- IP address (briefly, on your first visit) — to decide whether to show the site in Latvian or English.
We receive this data directly from you when you place an order, or automatically (IP address only) on your first visit.
Legal basis for processing
- Performance of a contract — we need your name, contact details and delivery point to fulfil your order.
- Legal obligation — order and invoice records are kept to comply with Latvian accounting and tax laws.
- Legitimate interest — fraud prevention and website security.
Payments
Maksājumu apstrādi nodrošina maksājumu platforma https://makecommerce.lv/, tāpēc mūsu uzņēmums maksājumu izpildei nepieciešamos personas datus nodod platformas īpašniekam Maksekeskus AS.
Payments are processed by the payment platform https://makecommerce.lv/; therefore, our company transfers the personal data necessary to complete the payment to the platform owner, Maksekeskus AS.
Your card details are entered and processed by MakeCommerce; IDNTY does not see or store them.
Who we share your data with
- Maksekeskus AS (MakeCommerce) — the data needed to process your payment.
- Omniva — your name, phone number, email and selected parcel terminal, to deliver your order.
- Our hosting provider — stores the website and its data, as our data processor.
- ip-api.com — receives your IP address only on your first visit, to detect your country and set the site language. No other data is sent, and we store only the result (“lv” or “en”), not your IP address.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or marketing platforms.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: to remember your cart, to keep you logged in to your account (if you have one), and to remember your language choice (kept for 180 days). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep your data
- Order and invoice records: 5 years, as required by the Latvian Accounting Law.
- Account data (if you create one): until you ask us to delete it.
- Correspondence: as long as needed to handle your enquiry or complaint.
- Language cookie: 180 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete;
- have it deleted once we are no longer legally required to keep it;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise these rights, email info@idnty.shop. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, www.dvi.gov.lv).
International transfers
Your data stays within the EU/EEA. The only exception is the brief IP-address lookup described above, which may be processed outside the EEA — only your IP address is involved, only on your first visit, and it is not linked to your name or order.
Children
Orders may only be placed by persons aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we start processing your data in a new way (for example, a newsletter or a new service provider), we will update this page before doing so.
